I don't think he should be put to death for a few reasons. First he is keeping up the story that he didn't kill the kids so that makes him just an accessory to murder and not worthy of the death penalty. Secondly I think the death penalty is outragous and shouln't be used, If killing humans is wrong what makes us any better than them, and what if we kill them and then with newer technology find out their innocent. If there in jail we can let them out but if we already killed them then what, tell the family we're sorry. For these reasons I don't think Matthew Poncelet should face the death penalty.

I think there are many reasons why people commit crimes, they can vary from mental issues to money problems. When your growing up the acts people do around you shape how you will turn out in the end, like if your abused you might abuse or rape or kill when your older. Another reason could be money if you are short on cash and desperate you might begin to steal and that could escalate to more serious theft and break and entering or other similar crimes. These are the reasons I think people commit crimes.

I like him as a character because he is so serious. If he warns you that he will stab you he will. I also like how he thinks, with random information flowing through his brain at all times.

So far the novel is a little hard to follow and it is really annoying how his topic keeps on changing every time he gets distracted. The part that really sticks out to me is how interesting the outlook on life is through Christopher's eyes.

Yes I like the style so far because all books are built the same and the fact that I opened the the book and  saw page 1 chapter 2 both confused and intrigued me. This was well thought out by the author because it made me want to read more.

The most important thing about autism is there is such a wide variety of the severity of there autism. From child prodigies to people that cant function by themselves. Within this spectrum lie our worlds future genius' to thoughs who will never be a functioning member of society.

After watching the film I learned a lot about this celebrity crazed world. I learned that paparazzi will stop at nothing to get there shot, and will say anything to make a buck. I really don't think he succeeded because after the first bit the kid became a celebrity almost and started moving away from the main point of the film. Before I watched this film I had a general idea how crazy paparazzi are but after this film I know they are way worse than I could have ever imagined.

I think that the theme of the body is journey. I think that this is the main theme because the whole book is about there adventure to find the body of Ray Brower.

My favourite scene in the Body was when they found Ray Brower. This was my favourite because they thought it would be so fun and an awesome adventure, but when they found him it really hit them that he was a kid there age and dead. I felt like this completely changed the mood of the story from their adventure back to reality.

Christoper McCandless was extremely out of his mind to think he could survive out in the wild. Chris decided that he belonged out in Alaska. Thinking he could survive having no experience and living in the city his whole life. When it came down to it Christopher's irrational thought that he could survive without experience or training cost him his life.

In the short story The Body my favourite character is Chris. He is my favourite character because he has a really bad family and every one expects that of him and they wont give him a chance. He's a good kid trying to keep his head above water and always trying to keep the peace. This is why Chris is my favourite character.

Bullying is the act of abusing someone either mentally or physically. Bullying can happen to anyone and its usually those who were bullied themselves that become bullies, either by other kids or family members. I feel we need to do more about not just talk about it because its not working and its gone to far.

I think the most memmorable part of the body so far was their experience at the pond. I believe that this was the most memorable part for a few reasons. The pond scene was both gross and eye opening, proving to the boys that this is not some care free adventure and there are things out there that can and probally will go wrong.

A)  I think that Chris is going to find out that Mr. Shears killed Wellington

B)  I believe the relationship between Chris and his Father will remain the same.

C)  One major surprise that I think is going to happen is that his mother is still alive.
